Helpful For Anyone In Business (5 out of 5 stars)
In this book, Miguel Todaro does a phenomenal job explaining how to use internet marketing to its full potential. Todaro discusses the numerous benefits which a company can obtain through using internet marketing to sell themselves in the 21st. He describes taking advantage of the constant low cost which the internet offers, the ability to track a customer’s purchase habits, the huge potential Return On Investment, and the countless other opportunities that the internet provides.
Todaro also does a great job explaining search engines and how they work. He is particularly helpful when detailing the best way to create a website so that the keywords a potential customer enters will lead them your business’ website. Todaro also tells how you can analyze your competition’s keywords that way you can compete more effectively against them.
In addition to that, there is an extremely illuminating chapter on how to optimize your website. Todaro goes through ten basic areas which should be addressed to ensure that your website is running at peak performance. Headlines, titles, footers, and other vital website components are addressed in this section. Also, later in the book, link popularity and the ways your site can gain greater link popularity are discussed (gaining greater link popularity will cause search engines to rank you higher when they return search results). The strategies described here are a must for anyone looking to grow their business’ exposure on the internet. But, these are only a few ways that the book details on internet marketing. There is some much useful information here that anyone who is in business or is looking to promote their website should read this book.

Understanding how to operate in the world of cyber-business requires knowledge of basic tactics, the development of an operational plan and the creativity to set them in motion. This book covers all the important areas that an Internet entrepreneur will need to know in order to optimize his or her chance for success.
The book is a well-constructed road map that includes valuable inside information, presented with layman’s clarity. There is ample explanation of relevant industry terms along with tables and graphics to further illustrate important points. The reader will also benefit from links to other sources, along with recommended downloads to further enhance the learning process.
All in all, there is a plethora of interesting facts and figures. Some jargon and abbreviations may be confusing to the newcomer to Internet marketing, but they don’t distract the reader from the pertinent points. One phrase that I would use with Miguel Todaro’s book is “In-Depth”. In this Internet Marketing book, Miguel leaves no stone unturned. If, after reading, studying and putting into practice his sage advice, you don’t have significant new growth for your business, you can’t blame the author.
In this detailed Marketing book, Todaro discusses in-depth SEO (Search Engine Optimization), Optimization, PPC (pay per click), Keywords, Ads, Newsletters, E-Mail Marketing, E-Commerce Strategy, CMS (Content Management Systems), flash and SEO. His most discussed subject is PPC (pay per click) Marketing, devoting five of his twenty chapters to it.
Todaro discusses HTML quite a bit, for those that are more than spectators or have more than a passing interest in developing their own (or work in the field of Marketing or computer languages) web pages, marketing, PPC, etc. This book is more for the professional Internet Marketer than a casual observer or beginner.
If you’re wondering how to start Marketing your business or service on the internet, or are looking for a chapter or two to get a good idea of what Miguel Todaro is all about, a good place to start is his chapters on submitting your website to Internet Search Engines and Keywords. Keywords are of a vital importance to getting good traffic to your website.
These two chapters could help even the most novice Internet Marketer successfully build traffic to their website, business or service.
With as much detail as Miguel Todaro goes into, this is more geared towards other professional Internet Marketers (or, at the very least, towards those who have a more passing acquaintance with HTML, PPC and the like). I would rate this book a 5, if only for the two chapters on submission and keywords.

Dubbed as ‘The Complete Guide to Becoming an Internet Marketing Expert’, this manual eliminates the mystique surrounding topics like search engine optimization, pay per click advertising, and direct email marketing.
Increasing traffic to one’s website is an obvious priority for businesses that operate online; Todaro spends much of his book effectively outlining ways to accomplish this. However, a key differentiator for this book is that the author also helps the reader to understand the difference between site traffic and potential clients. “The distress about people coming to the site was removed after the year 2000,” Todaro states. “Today’s worry is the quality of the audience and the chance to make them convert from potentials to clients.” In Internet Marketing Methods Revealed, the author teaches readers to make the distinction between what Todaro calls “good traffic” and simply “traffic.”
While expertly navigating readers through terms like blogging, banner advertising, and viral marketing, this book helps make sense of a confusing field and helps the average Joe become savvy and confident online.

In “Internet Marketing Methods Revealed: The Complete Guide to Becoming an Internet Marketing Expert”, Miguel Todaro examines all aspects of creating, implementing, evaluating, and optimizing internet marketing.
In this book, Todaro offers unique, new strategies for attacking the online market head-on. He includes a thorough guide to help you create effective marketing with the maximum number of views possible. There are great samples that serve as templates. Todaro emphasizes the importance of creating traffic for your internet marketing and offers advice and tools for getting people to view your site. Some of the more technical parts of the book are easy to understand and there is so much useful information that I am surprised the book isn’t twice as long.
This is a great book for anyone looking to maximize search engine hits, and get more internet traffic directed towards their site. Todaro does a great job of explaining internet marketing strategies and methods while providing ideas for successfully utilizing the tools available.

It gives you an evolution of marketing online, tells you why it’s a good time to learn how to make the most of it, and then it helps you to learn how to do it. Rather than give you step by step instructions the book teaches you how to understand why something works, and what specifically searchers and search engines are picking up on. It doesn’t ask you to take advice based on faith; rather it teaches you how and why you need to adjust your website to best promote your business. Todaro’s book will help you keep up with the Internet.
Todaro’s book provides everything you need to take your business to the next level with Internet marketing. He discusses keywords and how to select which ones to use and which ones not to. Multiple word keywords and phrases are the best, while single words often have too many hits so that it’s almost impossible to get your site to come up in the first page of Google hits. All types of ads are mentioned, from the annoying and virtually useless pop-up ad, to the more profitable pay per click style. This book will teach you how to formulate a good headline and text for a PPC ad that will actually get clicked. Newsletters, affiliate programs, and e-mail marketing are all mentioned as well, with in depth analysis of how best to use these methods to develop a winning marketing strategy.
